Anzio apartments place you right in the heart of Tempe, less than two miles southwest of ASU and downtown and one mile from Interstate 10 and Highway 143. Commuting to ASU is a breeze, taking just five to seven minutes when you drive east on Broadway and north on Mill. You’re closest to the southwest area of campus, including sites like Gammage Auditorium and the Music Building. The closest parking garage is the Apache Boulevard Parking Structure.
This close to campus, walking and biking to ASU are also very viable options. You can walk to campus in about 35 minutes, and bike there in less than 10. Again, the most direct route is via Broadway and Mill, but you can vary your route by heading up South Priest. If you’re going to the southern section of campus, head east on West 13th Street from Priest. If you want to be in the middle of campus, cut over on University Drive, and if you are going to north campus sites like Sun Devil Stadium, use 5th Street.
Luckily, you’re also close enough to campus to enjoy Valley Metro’s free neighborhood circulator shuttles. The Orbit Venus shuttle picks you up at Broadway and Industrial Park Boulevard, which is a six-minute walk from your apartment. The shuttle stop at University and Mill puts you at the center of campus in just 13 minutes. If you’re heading to the east side of campus, you can use the Venus shuttle and pick up one of ASU’s free FLASH shuttles to other areas of campus. There are other bus routes to the east side of campus, but they are not free and double your travel time.
