Dartmoor apartments are conveniently located 4.3 miles almost directly east of ASU. This locale makes commuting to the university remarkably easy, whether you prefer to drive, bike or ride light rail trains. Driving to campus takes about eight minutes traveling west on University Drive. Using westbound Rio Salado Parkway or Loop 202 takes about 10 minutes without traffic. During rush hours, though, expect to spend up to 22 minutes on your commute if you use Loop 202.
Traveling the four-plus miles to campus on your bike is a nice alternative to driving. Cycling to the University Drive/Rural Road intersection takes approximately 23 minutes. There, you’ll be close to the Tyler Parking Structure, the Biodesign Institute buildings and SkySpace.
Your apartment is also very close to the region’s convenient light rail station. To take a light rail train to ASU, walk almost a half-mile south to the station at Main Street and Alma School Road. The westbound train takes about 14 minutes to get to the station at University Drive and Rural Road. You can continue on the train for two to three additional minutes to get to the Veteran’s Way and College Avenue station. This station is also sometimes known as Tempe Transportation Center. Whatever you prefer to call the transit stop, it puts you within steps of popular university sites like Wells Fargo Arena and Sun Devil Stadium. It’s also convenient to ASU’s Brickyard Engineering and downtown Tempe.
