The apartments at Decco 109/121 are just six blocks from ASU’s southwest corner and less than two miles from downtown. This proximity to the ASU campus makes walking to work or class a breeze. If you head east on Broadway and north on South College Avenue, the walk to the Carey School of Business takes 16 minutes. If you’re going to the Gammage Memorial Auditorium, head west on Broadway and north on South Mill Avenue for a 19-minute walk to campus. For points deeper into campus, hop on a FLASH Forward/FLASH Back shuttle at the corner of University and South College Avenue or at the Gammage. Cycling will get you to campus in just under five minutes.
Hopping on the bus for easy transit around town is also a good option. The walk from the apartments to the bus stop .1 miles away at Broadway and Mill Avenue takes just three minutes. Route 65 and Route 66 buses pick up there and drive the two to three minutes to the southwestern corner of campus. The closest drop is at Mill Avenue and 13th Street. Route 65 and 66 buses continue north, stopping several times along the western border of campus for easy access to all parts of the university. It also continues on to downtown and the Tempe Transportation Center for transfers to light rail trains and other Valley Metro transit options.
Being so close to campus also means that residents of Decco 109/121 have access to dozens of nearby restaurants, stores and conveniences. AutoZone auto parts, a nail salon and an athletic supply store are directly beside the apartment complex, and Walgreen’s is on the next block. Wells Fargo Bank is one block to the north. Four blocks to the west are chains like Arby’s and Popeye’s as well as Chase Bank and Boulders on Broadway. For groceries, Safeway is one mile to the east, Ralph’s is one mile to the south and Walmart is one mile to the northeast.
