Hayden Lane Apartments
Hayden Lane is a popular street for residents interested in living close to the Arizona State University Tempe campus. The Hayden Lane Apartments are located just short of a mile from the eastern edge of campus, so you can reach University Drive by the University Center and University Club within five minutes by car or bike and 20 minutes on foot. University Drive cuts through the center of campus with the Wells Fargo Arena and sports fields to the north and the academic buildings to the south.
To get to campus, take Hayden Lane to South McClintock Drive and turn right. Turn left onto University Drive and go straight until you reach campus, branching off on the side roads to reach your final destination. Following University through campus will also lead you to many restaurants, parks and entertainment venues located west of the university.
Do you need to commute to other cities or states? If so, this apartment community is within five miles of the Price, Red Mountain and Superstition Freeways. Taking the Price Freeway north to the Red Mountain Freeway will allow you to reach the Phoenix Zoo and many recreation areas in the mountains just north of the Tempe campus.
Whether you’re headed to the university or you’re searching for outdoor recreation, shopping or dining opportunities, it’s easy to get around this area of Tempe. You can walk or bike to all areas of the ASU campus, and many restaurants and bars are within walking distance.
You can also take the Mercury West bus toward downtown Tempe to reach the Tempe Transit Center in the northwestern corner of campus. The trip takes less than 20 minutes without delays. If you walk about 10 minutes to the light rail train station at the intersection of McClintock Drive and Apache Boulevard, you can take the train to the same transit center. This trip is sometimes a few minutes faster than taking the bus. Riding the light rail train further northwest allows you to explore Tempe beyond the university.
Hayden Lane places you near a variety of restaurants serving the university population, including cheap diners and some authentic ethnic cuisines. There are also many bars and breweries in the area, so you can always enjoy the nightlife without driving. For outdoor recreation, Alegre Park is a few blocks to the southeast.
