The northernmost light rail station stop in Tempe is at Veteran’s Way and College Avenue. It’s also the main bus transit hub, Tempe Transportation Center. The station is just steps from Sun Devil Stadium, Wells Fargo Arena and other prominent ASU event venues. Living in apartments near this light rail station places you directly in the heart of downtown Tempe. You’ll be close to the popular nightclubs and restaurants of the Mill Avenue District. The second light rail station in Tempe is on the southeast side of campus at University Drive and Rural Road. Apartments near this station put you close to ASU’s Biodesign Institute and Skyspace. Although it only takes three minutes to travel the distance between the two Tempe light rail stations, each area has its own distinct character. The Veteran’s Way/College Avenue station offers a lively, urban feeling. The University Drive/Rural Road station is in a more suburban atmosphere.
