Pala Mesa Apartment Homes
The Pala Mesa Apartments are located in the city of Mesa on West Main Street. The complex is positioned less than three miles east of the Arizona State University Tempe campus and offers easy access to the AZ-101 and AZ-202 loops for residents traveling to Phoenix and other surrounding cities by car. This is a prime university location that allows you to reach the eastern edge of the ASU campus in under 10 minutes by car without traffic.
The most direct route to campus is on University Drive, which cuts directly through campus and delivers easy access to all university buildings. From the apartment complex, take West Main Street to South Roosevelt Road, where you will make a U-turn to backtrack to East Apache Boulevard. Go east on Apache until you reach Price Road, and then go north on Price to University Drive. After turning left onto University, simply go straight until you reach your desired area of campus.
You can walk to campus from Pala Mesa in less than an hour, and the bike ride should take less than 20 minutes. If you prefer to use public transportation, there are buses that will take you to most locations surrounding the apartment complex.
Since you would have to make several bus transfers to reach ASU from this location, it’s best to take the light rail train to reach the university. You have to walk a few minutes to the intersection of Apache Boulevard and Price Road to board a train headed to Mill and 3rd Street. Get off at the Veterans Way and College Avenue stop, which is located on the western edge of campus. From there, you can walk or take the Fast Forward buses to any area of campus.
The Pala Mesa Apartments are just west of the East Valley Institute of Technology and approximately three miles north of Mesa Community College and the hospital. Fiesta Mall and other shopping centers are close to the hospital, and the immediate area surrounding the apartments features a variety of restaurants serving everything from Middle Eastern, Thai and Chinese cuisine to Pho and submarine sandwiches.
