Papago Vista Apartments
The Papago Vista Apartments allow you to live next to a large golf course and minutes from the AZ-202 loop while remaining within four miles of the Arizona State University. You can reach the Tempe campus within 10 minutes in light traffic, and you’re a short drive away from the mountains and a long list of outdoor recreation facilities.
You can reach campus in approximately five minutes by car if you take the 202 loop with no traffic. Exit at Scottsdale Road and travel south to cross Tempe Town Lake and enter the northern end of campus. This is where the Wells Fargo Arena and ball fields are located, but you will need some extra time to make your way south through campus and find parking.
If you prefer to stay off the highway, take North 53rd Street to East Van Buren Street and go west until you reach South Priest Drive. Going south on Priest will take you to University Drive, and University will take you to the western edge of campus. Continue on University to reach all campus buildings.
It takes approximately one hour to walk to campus from the Papago Vista Apartments, and the bike ride can take about 20 minutes. If you don’t have private transportation, you can take the light rail. You will have to walk just over a mile to reach the closest train station near Priest Drive and Washington Street. From there, take the southbound train toward Main Street and Mesa Drive. Ride for three stops, and then exit at Veterans Way and College Avenue. This leaves you on the western edge of campus, and you can either walk or use the Fast Forward buses to reach your final destination.
There are public buses that will take you to some of the attractions surrounding the apartment complex in Phoenix. You can also take the light rail to reach destinations that are northwest and southeast of campus.
The Papago Vista Apartments are located just west of the Papago Golf Course, Desert Botanical Garden, Phoenix Zoo and Rolling Hills Golf Course. It’s also a short distance from many scenic areas of the mountains, including Hole in the Rock. There are many bars and restaurants in this area, and some are within walking distance.
