Transportation
Near the juncture of Interstate 10 and the Superstition Freeway, 505 West apartments on West Baseline Road are just three miles from the ASU campus. That location makes it easy to get to campus, but it keeps you removed from the bustle that goes along with 46,000 ASU students. If you like walking to work or school, you can cover the distance between the apartments and the campus’ southwestern sites like Gammage Memorial Auditorium and Carey School of Business in about an hour. Cycling to ASU is faster at just under 20 minutes. Cycling up South Mill Avenue is best if you’re heading to the western edge of campus. South College Avenue is better if you’re heading to the central area of campus. Traffic on South College Avenue is usually lighter than Mill Avenue.
Public transportation options are plentiful in the area. The bus stop, #14225, is about a third of a mile from the apartment building at Baseline and Kyrene. The walk to the bus stop lasts about 5 minutes. There, you can pick up Route 65 and Route 66 buses. Both routes travel up South Mill Avenue and offer stops near Gammage Auditorium; that’s an 11-minute trip. Traveling to other areas is just as convenient. Both Route 65 and 66 buses travel on to the downtown Tempe Transportation Center where you can transfer to light rail trains or other bus routes.
