Agave Apartments
Located less than a half mile south of the Arizona State University Tempe campus, the Agave Apartments are perfect for students walking or biking to campus daily. By heading west on Vista Del Cerro Drive and then north on Rural Road, you can walk from the apartment complex to the southeastern edge of campus in approximately 10 minutes. This area is home to the Sonora Center and the university housing complex.
Rural Road runs north through campus and turns into North Scottsdale Road after you cross over East Rio Salado Parkway. You can take Scottsdale over Tempe Town Lake to visit the marina, the zoo or a variety of parks, golf courses and hiking sites. If you want to stay on campus, you can turn off of Rural to reach all academic and recreational facilities. There are Flash Forward buses throughout campus that will make it easier to reach the more remote buildings.
Transportation
While many Agave residents walk or bike their way around campus and to most surrounding attractions, you can also depend on the Valley Metro busing system to explore areas beyond the immediate area. Bus route 45 serves Broadway Road, which is located just south of the apartment complex.
Catching a bus on this route will take you to most destinations west and east of campus, and you can take route 72 buses on Rural Road and Kyrene Road to reach restaurants and shopping centers south of campus. This route will also take you north of campus if you want to explore the water and mountains.
