Transportation
Camden Hayden apartments are located in northern Tempe, along East Curry Road. Just a mile from ASU’s sports fields such as Packard Baseball Stadium and Karsten Golf Course, the apartments are convenient to campus and downtown Tempe. Walking to the athletic fields takes just 22 minutes, and you’ll cross the picturesque Tempe Town Lake/Salt River in the process. You can pick up the FLASH Forward/FLASH Back shuttles in the Packard stadium parking lot if you need to go farther into campus. Cycling that same route, south on North Scottsdale Road to East Rio Salado Parkway, takes only about seven minutes.
Public transportation also offers quick trips to campus and downtown Tempe. The Valley Metro bus stop #14815 is just about 250 feet from the apartment buildings, at the corner of Curry and Scottsdale roads. Route 72 buses pick up passengers there and drop passengers at the nearest stop to Packard stadium four minutes later. The walk from the bus drop at Rural Road and Rio Salado to the FLASH Forward shuttles takes about five minutes. If you stay on the Route 72 bus, you’ll continue on through the center of campus and turn onto University Drive. There are a few campus stops along University moving toward the western section of campus. The trip from Curry to the corner of College and University takes about 9 minutes.
