Eastridge Apartments are in the center of Tempe, making travel to work and school quick and simple. The apartments are located nearly three miles south of ASU’s Tempe campus on East Southern Avenue. You can bicycle to classes at the university or pedal to work downtown within 15 to 20 minutes, depending on your route. Most cyclists prefer traveling north on South Dorsey and cutting across East Vista del Cerro to South Rural Road to access the southern portion of campus. The route is mainly flat.
Bus service to the apartments is abundant. Walk two blocks east to Bus Stop #14965 at Southern and McClintock, and hop on the Orbit Jupiter bus. The bus makes the drive to the Gammage Auditorium and other sites on the southwestern corner of campus in less than 30 minutes. Residents can also take Route 61 buses and transfer to Route 65 or 66 buses to make the trip to campus in just a little more than 30 minutes. If you’re heading to the northeastern portion of campus, you can catch the Route 61 bus at Southern Avenue and Oak Street. After a quick four-minute ride, transfer to the Orbit Mars bus at Southern and Country Club. The Mars bus stops at the University/Rural transit center, where you can also pick up light rail trains to other cities in the region.
At Eastridge Apartments, you’re in the center of the city’s activity. Sprout’s Farmers Market is less than a half-mile away, as are Goodwill, Chase Bank and Game Depot. There are several restaurants in the Sprout’s shopping center, including Joe’s Crab Shack, Genuine Fresche, Los Reyes de la Torta, Taco Bell and Outback Steakhouse. Planet Fitness is just a few blocks northeast of the apartment building and next to Baskin-Robbins. Walgreen’s, ARCO, Starbucks, Great Clips, Bank of America, Subway and Ross are within one mile.
