Falling Waters Apartments
Although the Falling Waters Apartments have a Phoenix address, they’re popular with Arizona State University students and faculty members who want to live outside of the immediate campus area. Situated approximately 10 miles northwest of the Tempe campus, six miles northeast of downtown Phoenix and just minutes from the Red Mountain Freeway, this is an ideal location for commuters, frequent travelers and anyone willing to drive approximately 15 minutes to reach ASU. In heavy traffic, that commute time can easily double.
The fastest route to the university starts on North 24th Street. Go southbound until you see the ramp to merge onto the 202 loop going east. The will take you along Tempe Town Lake until you reach the Scottsdale Road exit. Go south on this road to cross the lake and immediately enter the northern edge of campus.
Transportation
It can take up to 90 minutes to reach the ASU campus by bus and up to 45 minutes if you take the bus and transfer to the light rail train. It takes less than a half hour to get there by car, so that is the preferred method of transportation for Falling Waters residents headed to the university.
If you have a personal vehicle but want to take public transportation when traveling other places, this apartment complex will give you immediate access to bus stops on several routes. You can catch route 70 buses on Glendale or 24th Street and go north toward the Biltmore Fashion Park or Piestewa Peak Park. A southbound bus on this route will take you to the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
Catch a westbound route 41 bus on Indian School Road to head toward Central High School and other westward destinations. On an eastbound route 50 bus covering East Camelback Road, you can reach the Echo Canyon Recreation Area and multiple golf courses.
