Nicely placed in central Tempe, Flagstone Apartment Homes are on West Carter Drive near the Superstition Freeway and Interstate 10. The residences are approximately 2.5 miles south of ASU’s Tempe campus and about three miles from downtown. Driving to work or classes at the university is fairly direct using South Mill Avenue. The drive usually takes about seven minutes without traffic. If pedal-power is more your style, you can bicycle to campus in about 15 minutes via South College Avenue or South Mill Avenue.
Bus service is plentiful in this central part of town. The bus stop, #14228, is a three-minute stroll along Carter Drive to South Mill. Bus Routes 65 and 66 head straight up South Mill to the west side of ASU’s campus. The first campus stop is at Mill Avenue and 13th Street, catercorner from Gammage Memorial Auditorium. The bus ride from Carter Drive to Gammage Auditorium lasts about 10 minutes. There are three additional stops along the campus’ west border: near the Katzin Concert Hall, between 9th and 10th streets and near the Mill Avenue/University Drive intersection. The bus ultimately travels to the Tempe Transportation Center for transfers to other bus and light rail routes.

Shopping for groceries is easy as pie with Whole Foods Market just 1.2 miles east of the apartments and Food City one mile southwest. Several convenience stores are also sprinkled around the area for quick snack runs. Wells Fargo, Chase, Citibank, Arizona Bank & Trust and Arizona Federal Credit Union are just a few blocks south along Baseline Road. You’ll also have the choice of almost 170 stores, restaurants and entertainment venues at Arizona Mills Shopping Center. The Arizona Mills Center is just two miles from the apartment homes and offers shops like H&M, Marshall’s, Sports Authority, Zumiez and F.Y.E
