Garden Grove Apartment Homes
The Garden Grove Apartment Homes are located on West Grove Parkway approximately five miles south of the Arizona State University Tempe campus. They’re also close to the Mariopa Freeway, Superstition Freeway and Price Freeway, so commuting to other parts of Tempe or surrounding cities is easy.
To reach the university through the most direct route, take Kyrene Road north to West Southern Avenue. Go west on Southern for one block, and then turn north on South Mill Avenue. This road will take you to the western edge of campus, and you can turn on any campus road to reach your final destination.
If you’re headed to the southern edge of campus near student housing or want to head north of campus to explore Tempe Town Lake and the marina, take Kyrene Road to Guadalupe Road, and then go west on Guadalupe until you reach South Rural Road. This road will take you straight through campus, over the lake and to many recreational areas like Rio Salado Park.
Transportation
While you can easily walk to many restaurants and stores surrounding West Grove Parkway, it’s best to drive your car or take the Valley Metro public bus to reach campus. It takes less than 15 minutes to drive to campus in light traffic, but the bus trip can take up to 30 minutes without delays.
The closest bus stop is near the corner of Kyrene and Hardy. Take a northbound bus on route 65 headed toward Warner Road and get off at the Mill Avenue and University Drive stop. From University, you can reach all areas of campus on foot or bike. You can also catch a train at the light rail station near Mill and University. The train will take you northwest and southeast of campus, so use it to explore the greater Tempe area.
