Heritage Pointe Apartment Homes
The Heritage Pointe Apartment Homes are located in the city of Gilbert, approximately 11 miles southeast of the Arizona State University Tempe campus. If you want to live off campus while remaining a reasonable drive away, this apartment community will deliver a fast commute that takes no more than 20 minutes in light traffic.
For the most direct route to ASU, take North Gilbert Road to US-60, heading west. Get off at the Rural Road exit, and then go north on Rural until you reach Apache Boulevard. This is the southern edge of campus, and you can turn left on Apache to reach Lemon Mall, the intramural fields and the ASU Gammage.
Continuing north on Rural will take you along the eastern edge of campus, allowing you to turn off on any side street to reach the academic buildings. If you go far enough north, Rural will turn into Scottsdale Road, and that road will take you over Tempe Town Lake. If you go west at that point, you will find the marina, the Phoenix Zoo and a popular recreation area known as “Hole in the Rock.”
It’s best to use private transportation to reach the ASU campus from the Heritage Pointe apartments, since the trip can take up to 90 minutes by bus or more than two hours if you use the bus and light right. If you want to use public transportation to explore the immediate area surrounding the apartments, bus route 136 runs north and south along Gilbert Road, and route 108 runs east and west along Elliot Road and 48th Street.
The Heritage Pointe Apartment Homes are located less than two miles northeast of the Neely Ranch Riparian Preserve and approximately 2.5 miles west of Freestone District Park. The community is also convenient to many public schools, including Burk Elementary, Gilbert Elementary, Mesquite Junior High, Gilbert Junior High and the Neely Traditional Academy. The area surrounding the apartment complex offers a variety of restaurants, including cafes, bistros and pizza shops.
