Indian Springs Apartments
The Indian Springs Apartments are located approximately five miles southeast of the Arizona State University. While they are positioned in the city of Mesa, you can reach the eastern edge of the Tempe campus within 15 minutes in light traffic.
The fastest way to get to campus is to follow South Alma School Road to the north until you reach West University Drive. Take a left on University and follow it until you enter the ASU campus. Since University cuts directly through campus, you can turn off on the side street closest to your final destination. If you turn right on Rural Road and continue north until it turns into Scottsdale Road, you will cross over Tempe Town Lake. Go west to visit the Phoenix Zoo, the Rolling Hills Golf Course and the Tempe Town Lake Marina.
Transportation
While your personal vehicle is the fastest way to reach ASU and all other destinations from the Indian Springs Apartments, you can also use the Valley Metro bus and light rail systems. The closest bus stop is less than half a mile away near the corner of Southern Avenue and Stewart. If you take a route 61 bus going west towards 48th Street, you will reach the intersection of Southern and Mill Avenue in less than 20 minutes. Get off at this stop and board a route 65 bus headed north to Tempe TC. This bus will take you up Mill, which runs along the western edge of campus. There are multiple stops on Mill that will give you access to all areas of campus.
You can sometimes save up to 10 minutes on this trip by taking a route 104 bus headed north on Alma School Road toward Mesa Riverview. Get off at the Main Street stop and take the westbound light rail toward 19th Avenue. Get off at the Veterans Way and College Avenue exit, which is located in the northwestern region of campus.
