San Montero Luxury Apartments
You’ll find the San Montero Luxury Apartments on East Inverness Avenue in Mesa, Arizona. This location offers a 25-minute commute time to the eastern edge of the Arizona State University Tempe campus in light traffic. It’s also located right off US-60 and within close proximity to AZ-101 and AZ-202 for residents interested in traveling to surrounding communities for work or leisure.
US-60 West is the starting point for the trip to the university. Enter the highway from South Val Vista Drive and merge onto the AZ-101 Loop headed north to the University Drive exit. Take University west until you arrive on campus. This entrance will take you by University Center and Cornerstone Mall, and it continues to the western edge of campus.
Since the San Montero Apartments are located 12.5 miles from ASU, it’s best to use private transportation to reach campus. You also have the option of using the Valley Metro bus system, but you will have to transfer buses to complete the trip. If you want to use the light rail, you will need to take two buses to reach the closest train station.
To start your bus trip, walk or find a ride to the bus stop near Southern Avenue and Val Vista Drive, which is approximately one mile from the apartment complex. Board a route 61 bus headed west on Southern toward 43rd Avenue, and get off at the Mill Avenue stop. Board a route 66 bus headed north on Mill toward Tempe TC, and get off at one of the Mill stops on the western edge of campus. Expect this trip to take up to 90 minutes one way, and allow for a bit more time to walk to your final destination on campus.
The San Montero Luxury Apartments are located approximately three miles north of the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch and Freestone District Park. Village Square at Dana Park is approximately half a mile to the west, and the surrounding area is home to many restaurants that serve Mexican, Hawaiian, Caribbean, Japanese and Italian foods. There are also some American restaurants serving hot dogs and burgers.
