Transportation
Suncrest Apartments are six-and-a-half miles east of ASU and close to a number of area freeways. Driving to the center of the campus takes 13 minutes without traffic and up to 25 minutes in morning commuter traffic.
If you prefer to power your own commute, biking to campus along University Drive takes about 35 minutes. Dedicated bike lanes are available along most of the route, although there are a few short stretches without dedicated lanes.
Using public transportation is the most cost- and time-efficient way to get to campus. The nearest light rail station at Mesa Drive and Main Street is just a four-minute walk from the apartments. A 22-minute train ride takes you to the first university-area stop near eastern ASU locations such as Skyspace and the Biodesign Institute buildings. The second ASU stop is at the Veteran’s Way/College Avenue station near northwestern campus sites, including Wells Fargo Arena and Sun Devil Stadium. During the peak morning commute hours, trains pick up at the Mesa Drive/Main Street station every 12 minutes.
