Tempe Metro Apartments
The Tempe Metro Apartments are located approximately one mile east of the Arizona State University campus near the intersection of East Apache Boulevard and South McClintock Drive. The most direct driving route is north on South McClintock Drive and then west on University Drive. This road travels through the center of campus, so you can reach all campus destinations quickly.
Turning north off University Drive will take you to the athletic fields and entertainment venues on campus, including the Wells Fargo Arena, Packard Stadium, Desert Arboretum Park and Sun Devil Football Stadium. For student athletes, band members and coaches, turning north on Rural Road will lead to the practice fields.
To reach the academic buildings and administrative offices of ASU, turn south on Rural Road from University Drive. There are many parking areas in this southern section of the campus, and that includes parking for vehicles, carts and bicycles.
Transportation
You may select Tempe Metro as your next home if you want a short drive to work or school, but this is also a reasonable location for those depending on public transportation. There are many bus stops along McClintock Drive, including one near the apartment complex at the Apache Drive intersection. This is bus route 81, and it will take you north toward the Tempe Marketplace and the parks lining the shores of the Salt River. You can also go southbound to the high school and several smaller parks.
To reach the ASU Tempe campus by bus, you may need to take one bus to the intersection of University Drive and McClintock Drive, and then transfer to a route 30 bus heading west on University. If you prefer not to switch buses, then consider using the green line of the light rail system. It runs along East Apache Boulevard and then cuts north on South Terrace, racing straight through the northern end of campus. The advantage to taking the bus is that you can use the bus bicycle racks and then bike your way around campus.
