At Terra Vida apartment homes, you’re just a 15-minute walk from the region’s super-efficient light rail line, so traveling to ASU and downtown Tempe is extremely convenient. The nearest light rail access point is at the Price-101/Apache Boulevard station. There, you can catch a light rail train that delivers you to campus within nine minutes. The first campus-adjacent stop is at the University Drive and Rural Road station near ASU spots such as Skyspace and the Biodesign Institute. The second stop is at Veteran’s Way and College Avenue, just steps from Sun Devil Stadium. If you continued on the train, you’d pass Sky Harbor Airport toward stops in Phoenix.
Since the apartment homes are just three miles from ASU, biking to campus is also simple and quick, taking just 17 minutes. The easiest route leads you west on Apache Boulevard. If your destination is on the southern end of campus, you’ll just stay on Apache Boulevard. If you are heading to the center or north of campus, you can cut northwest to those regions via South Terrace Road from Apache Boulevard.
Driving to campus takes just 10 minutes, and there are a variety of parking structures available in all areas of the university. However, parking on campus is expensive. ASU also offers a convenient and free FLASH Forward/FLASH Back shuttle system that circulates around campus.
Recreation is plentiful near Terra Vida apartment homes, with walking and cycling paths just a block away along the Tempe Canal Trail. You’ll find most of the nearby shops and restaurants a block north of the apartments on Apache Boulevard. Bill’s Market, a flower shop and a hair salon are the closest conveniences. Chase Bank, Discount Tire Store, Pizza Hut and Krispy Kreme are a few blocks east at the intersection of Apache and Dobson. Circle K, Golden Restaurant and Bakery and American Five Star Auto Repair are just to the west at the intersection of Apache and the Price Freeway/Loop 101.
