Transportation
Near Santan Freeway/Loop 202, Price Freeway/Loop 101 and Interstate 10, Vive luxury apartments have prime access to regional thoroughfares. This proximity to area freeways comes in handy when commuting to area institutions such as ASU. While the university is 13 miles from the apartments, you can drive between the two on Price Freeway in less than 20 minutes. Even heavy morning traffic only increases the commute time to a potential 30-minute drive.
Although driving your own car to campus is the quickest way to commute to ASU, parking on campus can be frustrating and expensive. If you want to avoid the hassle of driving, and you don’t want to deal with on-campus parking, Valley Metro’s transit systems offer some alternatives. Most of these options, however, increase your commute time considerably. The fastest public transportation route takes about an hour and 10 minutes to deliver you to the university. This course uses both a Route 96 bus and a light rail train. If you want to use only light rail, you can bypass the Route 96 bus by driving or biking to the nearest light rail station at Sycamore and Main Street in Mesa. The drive to the station takes about 20 minutes, and the train ride itself takes 13 to 16 minutes.
